Willie came to us from Greystones alongside his brother Paddy, class '65.

He was always great for staying in touch with Knock, its alumni and all matters rugby, but above all he was a great family man, as witnessed by below on Willie from the 1992 chronicle:

"Willie left Castleknock in 1962. He was a member of the 1962 SCT and he subsequently played rugby for Greystones and Bective Rangers. He captained Greystones in 1971-72 and was Ptesident of Greystones in 1988-89. He was one of the first of his class to get married and celebrated his 26th wedding anniversary this year. He married Gale Delahunt and he has four children, Karen, Stephen (1981-84), Sarah, and Paul. Willie runs a very successful office equipment business and lives with his wife and family in Greystones. His main interests outside business are golf and tennis. He is a member of Greystones Golf Club and Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club.

Willie has been a regular visitor to the College and indeed is one of those responsible this year for organising his class Thirty Year reunion. His eldest son Stephen (class '86) was also with us to intercert before returning to Wicklow to finish his schooling.

We are always delighted to welcome Willie and we wish him and his family all happiness."

To his wife Gail, sons Stephen and Paul, daughters Karen and Sara, brother Paddy, sister Catherine and the wider Dunne family, we extend our heartfelt sympathies.

Requiescat in Pace.
