In recognition of both 100 years of rugby in Castleknock College and the 175th anniversary of the founding of the College, the Union is delighted to announce that this year’s Annual Dinner will be held in the prestigious Presidents Suite at the iconic Aviva Stadium, Lansdowne Road, Dublin 4.

The Dinner is a black tie event and tickets cost €70 per person; (a special price of €50 will apply to younger pastmen who left the College within the past 5 years; i.e. since 2005).  The dinner is open to all pastmen and their guests.

Attendance for this event will be limited and early booking is strongly recommended.

The Union is pleased to provide advance booking to pastmen registered on the Union website.  Formal notification of the Dinner will be circulated to all pastmen in due course; however, pastmen registered on the website can immediately avail of advance booking using the online credit card booking facility (after login, click BOOK HERE at bottom of this page).

Following formal notification of the Dinner and booking form, payment can then be made by cheque.  (Younger pastmen: we regret the online facility cannot presently cater for payment at the special price of €50 which will have to be made by cheque).

John Loughran, Past President of the Union 2000 and proprietor of the Mount Herbert Hotel, is offering a special Bed & full Breakfast rate of €37.50 per person sharing or €65 single for pastmen attending the Union Dinner.  This offer also includes free parking.  Mount Herbert Hotel (www.mountherberthotel.ie) is located next door to the Aviva Stadium and pastmen wishing to avail of this special offer should email info@mountherberthotel.ie and quote “Castleknock Union Dinner Offer."

I look forward to seeing you on the night for what promises to be a most memorable occasion and a unique opportunity to meet up with other pastmen in an historic setting so long associated with the College.

David Bell

President
