Over 40 pastmen and their guests attended the networking seminar held in the offices of Mason Hayes & Curran, Barrow Street, Dublin 4 on 1st July. Those attending were treated to a very informative and entertaining presentation from the guest speaker Iain McDonald on his experiences as an entrepreneur and on his current venture, Weedle (www.weddle.com). Given the amount of questions that came from the floor, it could have gone on for another hour or so!! It was a great opportunity for pastmen and their guests to meet up informally and to chat about business and do some networking, which was the fundamental purpose of the evening. The general view was that this type of event is very useful and of interest to pastmen, and it is now intended that similar type events will be scheduled for the coming year; details will be posted on the website.
