Saturday 14th November 2009. the College hosted celebrations marking 100 years of Rugby at SVC.
The day kicked off with two new rugby fixtures: the Fr. O’Donoghue Cup where Knock SCT played Methody and the Fr. Maher Cup where the JCT faced Belvedere. We're happy to report Knock were victorious in both! Following a Champagne Reception in the Concert Hall, the new College Rugby Museum was officially opened by David Bell Snr, who won a senior Cup Medal for the College in 1937.
