The Union was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Raymond Kerr (class '64), father of Raymond (class '98) and brother of Maurice (class '68).

Dr. Raymond Joseph Kerr, Church Rd, Bundoran, Co. Donegal. 12th December 2023 at his residence following a short illness, in the presence of his loving family. Dearly beloved husband of Nuala, and much loved father of sons Richard (Deceased), Raymond & partner Claire, daughters Elizabeth & husband Alan Wenden, and Louise. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, sister Renee Loughnane, Brothers Maurice and Gerald, brother-in-law Vincent Kennedy, sisters-in-law Regi and Helen Kerr, and Evelyn Nugent, and all his nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, colleagues, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his sister Marie Kennedy, brother-in-law Michael Loughnane and brother and sister-in-law Larry and Claire Burke.

May Dr. Raymond Rest in Eternal Peace

Reposing at the Family Home, Church Rd, Bundoran (opposite the Church) on Wednesday evening, 13th Dec., from 5pm to 8pm and on Thursday evening, 14th Dec., from 5pm to 8pm. House Private at all other times please. Removal from there on Friday morning, 15th Dec., at 10.45am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Ninnidh's Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran.

Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Dr. Raymond to the Oncology Ward at Sligo University Hospital or The North West Hospice or Cancer Care Ireland, care of donation box at Family Home and Church.
