COME AND SEE

The two disciples heard what he said and followed Jesus.
Jesus turned and saw them following him and said to them, “What are you looking for?”
They said to him, Master “where are you staying?”
He said to them, “Come and you will see.”
So they went and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day.

John 1 v36

This is the theme Rev Aidan Galvin C.M. has chosen for the Good Friday Retreat on 3rd APRIL.

Fr. Aidan is Director of the Vincentian parish Mission Team; he also works with the sick and infirm Vincentians. He taught in St. Patricks College Armagh and All Hallows College Dublin and was Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Parish Mill Hill in North London. He lives in St. Paul’s Raheny.

Fr Aidan is not that well known to most of us but we are in for a big surprise. Come and see!

Friday, 03 April 2015 at Castleknock College. The day will begin at 9.30 am for registration with morning-prayer at 10 am (as close as we can get it). Your Union is proud to be associated with the Good Friday retreat and would recommend it to all pastmen, and especially so for those who have never before attended, or even considering attending, for it is well worth taking the time out for some personal reflection. Come and see.

Yours sincerely,

Billy Gallagher
Class '61

The College provides lunch and dinner for participants of the retreat and the Union requests a voluntary donation of €50 (€30 without dinner) to help defray the expenses of the day. Payment can be made on the day, but to gauge numbers for the caterers, please do let us know if attending, and if staying for dinner.
