Pastmen,

The Union Debate returns again this Thursday 27th February out at the College at 7:30pm.

The motion is "This House Believes Toxic Masculinity Remains Prevalent in Irish Schools"

Representing the pastmen will be the more than capable duo of Ciaran O'Flynn (Class of 2019) and Myles Kirby (Class of 1994). There won't be any sharing of arguments in advance however as Ciaran will be speaking for the proposition while Myles will be opposing! Joining them will be four of the College's most capable debaters and for the first time, two debaters from Mount Sackville will take part. We wish them all the very best of luck on the evening.

The debate will be chaired by Ms Joan Mulvihill while Dick Wafer and Pat Cooney will take up adjudicating roles.

All are welcome to attend what we expect to be another enjoyable debate, now in its fifth year and to mark that occasion the Union have commissioned a trophy which will bear the name of each individual best speaker.
