Dr George Murnaghan, class '55

The Union was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dr George Murnaghan (class '55), brother of the late Fr Martin (class '59), Dennis (class '57) and Eoin (class '64).

Passed away peacefully at home on the 26th December 2020.

Beloved husband of the late Frances, and father to Mary, Paul, Mark and David.

Sadly missed by his family, Son in law Jim, Daughters in law Zita, Neasa & Carol and his dearly loved grandchildren, his sister Mary, his brothers Denis, Eoin and the late Rolive and Fr. Martin. All his neighbours, and many friends.

May he rest in peace.

Funeral on Saturday 9th January 2021 after 9.00am Requiem Mass at St Therese of Lisieux Church, Somerton Road, Belfast followed by burial in Co Wexford.

Due to government advice regarding gatherings a private funeral will take place for immediate family only.
