The Union was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of James Kinahan, class '64.

Kinahan, James Patrick (Milltown Dublin), 22 January 2018, peacefully in St. James’ Hospital (after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family).Loved husband of Sheila and treasured father of Zoe, Carrie and Fergal. He will be greatly missed by his family, granddaughter Isabelle, son-in-law Daniel and friends. (His enthusiasm for life and his infectious spirit will always be with the many lives he touched).

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road on Thursday afternoon (25 January) from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Removal on Saturday morning (27 January) to the Church of Sts. Columbanus & Gall, Milltown, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30 am and afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Colour was a big part of Jimmy’s life, so please wear your brightest attire. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Agnes' Music Project, Crumlin, collection boxes will be at the church.
