Your prayers are kindly asked for the following pastmen who have departed this life since the beginning of the year:

Mr Patrick J. O'Meara (class of 1932) of Thurles, Co Tipperary, died on 13th January aged 90 years. He maintained his membership of the Union throughout his life and was very proud of his association with the College.

Mr Con Creedon, father of Con (class of 1973) and Martin (class of 1975) died in early February. Mr Creedon will be remembered by pastmen as the man who built Dowley House ( the" new junior school" as it is fondly thought of by many).

Mr Peter Lyons, (class of 1928) died on 22nd February . Peter was President of the Castleknock College Union in 1965-66. He remained a firm supporter of all things to do with Castleknock College and he will be missed by the many pastmen whose lives he has touched over the years.

Mr Patrick McIlvenna (class of 1963) , brother of Jim (class of 1961) and Matt (class of 1965) (and the late John, class of 1958) died in early March. Patrick will be missed by the many pastmen with whom he maintained contact.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of all the departed. A mass for deceased pastmen, community and staff of the College is celebrated in November each year and all are invited to attend.
